He is an Alumnus of Guntur Medical College. He did his post-graduation (MD) in 1993 at prestigious Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Later backed by his interest in gastroenterology he worked as a senior resident in department of gastroenterology at Nizams institute of medical sciences (NIMS) Hyderabad. Later on, he went on to achieve rank 2 in the superspeciality entrance exam for the state of combined Andhra Pradesh and haven chosen to purse his further studies in DM (gastroenterology) in at most sorted out Osmania medical college, Hyderabad. With the desire to serve his own people in the surroundings of Vijayawada he scarified many lucrative options at various metro cities in India and abroad and started his career as a medical gastroenterologist in Vijayawada.
